A Coronavirus update from our CEO (March 13, 2020)

Dear Members,

GE Credit Union takes the well-being of our members and employees seriously. We are closely monitoring the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

During this time, all of our branches are open during our normal business hours.  We are in accordance with recommendations from local health officials and government leaders as we continue to offer branch services.

In the meantime, the general public is advised to adhere to the following preventative guidelines:
·         Wash hands with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds.
·         Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
·         Stay home and rest if you aren’t feeling well.
·         Cover your coughs and sneezes with your elbow or a tissue.
·         Use alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
·         Disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
·         Avoid close contact with others who are ill.
·         Drink plenty of water and get regular exercise.
·         Opt for a fist bump, head nod or a wave in lieu of a handshake.

Fortunately, as an alternative to visiting our branch locations, you may access your accounts remotely 24/7 using Online Banker and Call 24 for the most up-to-date account information. In addition, our Member Service Representatives can be reached during normal business hours at 800.992.8472.

We will continue to monitor and make our business decisions based on guidance from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. Government and local public health agencies.

Best Regards,
Christopher Moran
