Collections Representative, Milford, Connecticut Corporate Headquarters

  • 1 full-time position

Job Description

The Collections Representative is responsible for monitoring delinquent accounts. Also, contacting members by phone and e-mail requesting payments be made. Answering incoming calls and processing payments. Assisting members with collection-related questions and other tasks as assigned.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Contact and notify customers of delinquent accounts by phone and e-mail
  • Locate and monitor overdue accounts
  • Process payments
  • Type delinquent Letters
  • Receive inbound and make outbound calls to collect payments
  • Ability to answer general inquiries and address customer concerns
  • Process daily incoming / outgoing mail

Job Specifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong computer and phone skills

Experience and Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of Customer Service experience strongly preferred
  • Bilingual candidates a plus but not required

Salary:

  • $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Job Description

Must have reliable transportation

The Member Service Representative performs all traditional teller functions in a manner which aligns with the Credit Union's mission of enhancing our member’s financial lives and becoming their preferred financial partner.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Independently perform all teller functions accurately and efficiently. (Deposits, loan payments, withdrawals, electronic access etc.)
  • Assists members in evaluating current and future financial goals by pairing them with services and products that best fit their needs.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, friendliness, and a professional demeanor.
  • Answer incoming customer inquiries
  • Collaborate with management teams to stay updated on new products, services, and policies
  • Record customer information within our customer service database
  • Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
  • Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies
  • Other duties as assigned

Salary:

  • $15-$20 per hour

Member Service Telephone Representative II, Milford, Connecticut Corporate Headquarters

  • 1 full-time position

Job Description

Serve as a Member Service Representative responsible for performing clerical and administrative duties related to establishing new accounts, deposits, Remote Deposit Capture, and other member service related tasks. Handle member account maintenance daily through telephone contact with members.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Assist members in opening new accounts, to include savings, checking, holiday clubs, vacation clubs, CDs, etc.
  • Explain the different types of accounts available to members and suggest the appropriate account(s) to meet members’ needs.
  • Troubleshooting for member questions relating to ACH, Payroll, Online Banker, Bill Payer, Funds Transfer, Checking Accounts, ODP (Courtesy Pay), Individual Retirement Accounts, Certificates of Deposit, Credit and Debit cards.
  • Perform file maintenance and account changes as necessary.
  • Perform routine member transactions and other member service functions as necessary.
  • Assist members by phone and in person on matters such as stop payments, account status, account balance, account maintenance, loan pay-offs, office hours, services offered. etc.
  • Complete end of day balancing using Electronic Presentment.
  • Performs other duties as necessary.

Salary:

  • $16.50-$17 per hour
